Sorry i haven't updated in a while i have been to busy with other things like the prospect of maybe having to move home because of some lying fool.

This review is of King Kebab Skegness. Though its called king kebab they also do fish and chips and burgers and various other things though strangely they don't seem to sell fishcakes which is rather odd. Right lets get onto the food. I ordered fish and chips and wasn't kept waiting to long which was good as i was very hungry. The food was served on a polystyrene tray which was a nice change from the usual paper effort. If the food is on a tray its generally easier to get to and you have somewhere to put your sauce. The chips was new potato's but was a bit to greasy but was cooked well and there was a decent amount. Now onto the fish which was not very good at all. The batter was to thick and the fish didn't taste particuly fresh and had several bones in it (seaside chippy twait). The batter was basically white slime once you pealed back the outer batter it had the consistency of wallpaper paste. This didn't really surprise me as seaside chippy's are often rubbish and staffed by total amateurs. Its a gimmick that seaside chippy's are good.

So many times i have eaten from them over the years and found them to be rubbish. If they didn't have the tourists they would be out of business as the locals know which take aways are poor quality and avoid them.

 

I'm giving king kebab 4/10 for this as the fish was so poor.
